I was so surprised!

Despite the profound subject matter, the author, Ryoichi Endo, surprisingly says, "Let's make it like a manga!"

But at that moment, I felt like I was in this world.

I felt like a warm fire had been lit.

Have a great trip!

While studying in the United States, I came across the English version of Liao Ji's book, " Tao Shiatsu ."

The moment I read it, my soul trembled.

I understand now.
That shock was a profound message from the soul, which flows between the lines of this book you are reading right now.

Right now, I'm working with Liao Ji as part of the production team.

Just as a single book once changed my life,
Now, it's our turn to move the hearts of the world with our creativity.

My name is Susan Eddie, but please call me Sue. I am originally from England, though Japan has been my home for many years.

During my time here, I have been practicing Goju Ryu karate, Tai Chi, Buddhist chanting, and Tao Shiatsu. Soon after arriving in Japan, I was fortunate enough to meet Sensei Ryokyu Endo. That meeting opened the door to my journey into Tao Shiatsu and Buddhist chanting, and it has enriched my life in ways I could never have imagined.

One of the great privileges of my life was carrying the Hiroshima Peace Flame—the first flame of the Flame of Hope—from Hiroshima to Tokyo by bicycle. I was 60 years old at the time, and it was the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. That flame later traveled across Europe and to Israel, carrying prayers to transform the karma of suffering that still remained after 70 years, and to bring peace to many hearts.

More recently, I have had the joy of being involved in the wonderful project Satori Explosion , written by Sensei Ryokyu Endo, and I was honored to work as one of its English editors.

I would warmly and passionately encourage you to take this unique journey. Satori Explosion is full of surprises, insight, humor, and joy—and who knows? It may even cause a small explosion of satori in your own heart.
